    A/c ?

It was a job I couldn't start on until 8 at night. Autozone loaned me the gage set, didn't mention the pump.

    A/c ?

Re looked at that. Wasn't the post that I was originally referring to, but that IS the information I am looking for! Thanks! I changed the compressor, accumulator and low line. I didn't have a vac pump so I filled it to specs with the intent of getting it evacuateded, vacuumed and recharged...

    A/c ?

No, that looks like stuff I will use for sure. The one I'm looking for had stuff like if both gages read in a general range, it's good. If one is high and the other low, it's bad. Lol. Stuff like that. Thought I had bookmarked it. Can't find it thru search. Not on my phone anyway

    A/c ?

Somebody put a a/c troubleshooting guide on here last year. I can't find it. Maybe early this year. It had instruction on how to read manifold Gage's and other stuff. Anybody know?

Brake lights and high mount brake light not working

If your dash lights aren't working either, more than likely the fuse.

    I HATE the Liberty!

The "jeeps" used in the military weren't built by jeep. Not since the early 40s anyway. Even most of the jeeps used in WW2 weren't built by jeep, but by willys overland. They were mostly built by a company called am general. Sure, they were called jeeps. But that came from the acronym GP. Or...

    crank but no start

Well if you've checked the fuse and it's good, and you've swapped out the relay, and your getting no sound from the pump (I'd have somebody else put their earball on it too) then next logical would be the pump or wires to it. I'd go for the pump. Get one of those manual squeeze siphon things you...

need a little help with a leak

Well if you don't turn the a/c on, it won't hurt anything. Even if you DO turn it on, if it's leaking oil, then it's leaking refrigerant. It's not going to come on anyway once it gets below a certain pressure.

    3.7 oil crud probelm

Funny. I was gonna say: what granpa would do was drain the earl, fill it wit kerosene, and I mean FILL IT, disconnect the coil and crank it for a bit. Let it sit for a day or two. Drain. Fill with cheap earl. Crank let set. Then do two more earl changes. He had a truck he called Earl, cause used...

need a little help with a leak

Well, trans fluid is a deep red when new and after it gets burnt for a while it is a very dark red. If your a/c is leaking, it more than likely isn't working. Turn it on and watch to see if the clutch is engaging. Mine also has an external power steering cooler, but I've no idea what color that...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Husky, from Home Depot. Not "top end" by a long shot, but I'm not doing it for a living. I've had a couple for a long time, usually using only the 10mm which seems to be the most common size on Hondas. Now I have mas!! That pm I sent ya, take it that's a "no".

What did you do to your jeep today?

Put in the front tow hooks that I got from hoosierjeeper. Found a good excuse to get that set of ratcheting wrenches, which that and figuring out I can go in from the back, made the job easier.
