New Turbo Sound...with scraping?
I have been reading about compressor surge, and I am positive, that it is happening to my turbo during moderate acceleration. Mixed in with the "flutter" sound is a slight metallic scraping noise:icon_exclaim:. Could the surge be causing the turbine to be off center and scraping the housing? I...- jim_87

Hello from Michigan
I just recently purchased a Deep Beryl Greed Liberty CRD Limited. I love it, soo fun to drive. This is my first diesel vehicle, although I am not a noob when it comes to diesels...lol. I look forward to spending time on this forum with everyone.:Rock on:- jim_87
