    Ironman lift...2.5 years later

My ironman lift hasn't sagged at all. Still right at 21.5". The rear shocks did rust very quickly though.. going to replace them soon either with the longer ironman or the Monroe load assist. Haven't decided yet.

How bad is it to run an Nv3550 on a cup of fluid for a year.

The nv3550 has a lot of brass parts in it that don't like to be ran dry. I would plan on getting a replacement lined up for when this one craps out. And I recommend using the mopar fluid in it also. Only 2 quarts so it's not financially restrictive.

Best way to run Amp wire?

Pull back the carpet in the driver's seat foot well. On the side closest to the door you'll see a weld seam. Follow that seam up toward the firewall and you'll see an oblong plug. It might be partially covered with a black sealant. Push a screwdriver through the plug and pop it out.

What did you do to your jeep today?

A kid at work told me he ran over a Honda with his mall crawler wrangler yesterday. I told him it's natural for a jeep to get hungry if you don't take it off road at least once in awhile.

    Crankshaft Sensor Issues

I'm assuming you got a sensor from your local AutoZone or equivalent. I would also suspect your sensor is the product of cheap engineering/manufacturing. Go to the dealer and get an OEM sensor. If you have the correct sensor you shouldn't have to shim it.

Any other codes? My P0300 ended up being caused by O2 sensors. Only use NTK (NGK) O2 sensors.

I would be checking grounds and measuring voltages. Mine doesn't dim even at idle and with my stereo system on.

    Windshield Mounted Lights

The easiest way to find the hole in the firewall is to pull the carpet back on the driver's side and follow the weld seam up towards the front of the jeep and you'll see an oblong plug that's usually half covered with a sealant (like silicone). Just pop the plug out with a screwdriver.
