Try unhooking your PCV valve, they can get weak and "flutter" like that. If that is the culprit then its a very cheap fix. The PCV valve is the little black PVC piece next to your oil cap with the black hoses attached to it. You need to unhook it from both sides before you check it again.

Its a full relay kit. Even had the dealership switch my vehicle ID over to the USA to disable the DRL. I like to do things right ;)

I don't have any wiring diagrams or the ability to take under vehicle pictures (1' of snow outside). I hope someone can guide you. But you will want to look at the TCM connectors and wires running underneath the vehicle.

This sort of intermittent issue is usually a wiring issue. A good pot hole and the wires are not touching, one more good bump and they are back. I would still look for broken wires and damaged connectors.

Well the P0700 code is a TCM code, and P0740 I believe refers to a TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) circuit issue. For both issues make sure to check the grounds are all good. Check for broken wires going to and from the transmission. If you have these codes and no other you may just have a...

Never understood the "it's not a strut"... To me a shock does not hold a spring, my "shocks" up front are an assembly and hold a spring, oh well. What do you do with your jeep? No sense in wasting money if its only a mall-crawler.

Well, just installed the new bushings and presto! no more squeaks. I was kinda hoping for bad struts, wife was supportive of replacing with better ones and new springs (ome). Will have to wait until spring I guess. I know I could have sprayed em but 8 bucks every 100,000km isn't bad for bushings.
