Get the 4000s. Also, check your local laws. It's illegal to even drive without opaque covers in CA.

    2006 Sport

I contacted the dealerships at which the jeep was serviced according to the carfax report. I have yet to hear from one of them, but the other actually emailed me scanned copies of all the service records. The only problem with that is they didn't redact the records. So now I know the previous...

    42RLE Shudder in reverse

For me the cruise control is more consistent in unlocking the torque converter. When I try to do it myself it's pretty spotty. Hmmm maybe I need to adjust the amount of lead in my right shoe? On the other topic: Sucks to have a 42rle

    Oil Filter

Purely anecdotal - A coworker of mine worked as a mechanic for a professional motocross team. He said they run Red Line synthetic. Once an engine blew a seal and leaked almost all of it's coolant out. The bike still ran two more laps and finished the race. Of course, the motor had to be rebuilt...

Help!!! Key won't come out of ignition

Wow! Sorry to hear it. I have had my ignition switch stick with accompanying shifter problems in my suburban, but the shifter is on the column. Pulled the column apart. Didn't see anything. Put it back together. Not a problem since. I figure something was binding. Well good luck.

    2006 Sport

Sorry I wasn't too clear about it, but I bought the Libby used at a honda dealership. Since I am the second owner I can't say that anything of the additions were factory installed. I am going to guess that the original Jeep dealer put the lightbar on. And I am sure the dvd player and tv are...

    2006 Sport

I finally got an SUV. That said, I've owned a chevy suburban for 6 years. I bought a black 2006 Liberty Sport 3.7L Auto 4x2 (if only I knew then what I know now) w/ 62k mi to replace a totalled Nissan Sentra. It's my daily driver which is painful when I go to the pump now. Luckily my commute...

    The 'B' word

That's back-pressure. I've been looking into exhaust mods for power. I've read a lot on a lot of different forums. It seems there are people everywhere who eschew education in favor of rumors and sophistry. For those who like science I have these links...

    MBRP Performance exhaust

I'm no math expert, but wouldn't you want your L/100km to go down? It reads liters per one hundred kilometers. Or Volume of gasoline per Distance driven. Like Gallons per hundred miles. I would rather use 5 gallons per hundred miles (400miles per tank of gas) than ten gallons per hundred...
