Looking at it again and I’m thinking that because my wheels are pushed out past the flare a bit the measuring tape isn’t straight up and down and that’s where the extra half inch is coming from. So yeah operator error it seems.
Thanks, I was just reading another thread and noticed where you said a kk stock height is 18 inches. So if I’m sitting at 21
Dont I already have three inches of lift?
thanks. I was just looking at another thread where you were discussing kk stock height and said it’s 18 inches. I measured mine...
I don’t have the clevis lift and actually ended up about half an inch shorter than I was expecting as I’m sitting at 21 inches on all four corners so maybe the clevis lift is a good idea. I did grab a dremel tool and a heat gun today so I’m gonna trim a bit and see what happens. I’d hate to...
I was wondering why the wheels were out past the flares. I’m running a setup that I thought wouldnt rubbing terribly. 16x7 wheels with 4 inches of backspacing. I had no intention of them being outside the flares as I’ve read many people talk about getting spacers to do so and then folks telling...
I was wondering what that thing was called. It appears the hard plastic part that the air dam connects to is the major issue for me as I’m getting solid contact with that at some points. Gonna grab a dremmel and get after it. Going to get an ath bumper soon so I don’t think it’s a big deal to...
So after my alignment my tires are rubbing really bad on the front inner liner and on the flare where the liner connects to it at the corner. Sounds rough, I read on another post that you said you did some fabrication on your bumper and liner. Do you have pics or know any threads which discuss...
Got aligned guy said everything went well and all the work looked great. Now it’s rubbing really bad on the front inner fender liner and also where the flare meets the liner. Sounded really not great hitting the flare. Will get some video tommro along with measurements of my flare height. And...
Thank you! Prob should have ordered oe replacements. We’ll see can at least attempt to melt the one chunk back. I wish he’d just cut a flap like I asked. Oh well, off to my alignment :)
Sadly the tech cut One of the chunks out in two pieces not sure I’d be able to melt that back even if I tried. I got new liners coming I guess if it comes down to it I can just cut and flatten the ones that are coming.
My tech just finished up with my lift and did the pinch welds also. I sent him the step by step way of cutting a flap and melting it back down but he just cut a chunk out of it. I have the chunks but I’m wondering is there a reason why other than money that folks don’t just replace the inner...
