Oil leak from rear of cylinder head

Ya I've done that but since my last post I think I've figured out what's wrong. The back end of the blue gasket with the ridge in the middle is the problem. Hard to explain but the length of the gasket between the two back bolts/fasteners , is a millimeter or 3 too long thus not allowing the...

Oil leak from rear of cylinder head

Thanks TD, Okay, that would be one of the sandwiched solutions which I'm trying to avoid having to do if at all possible, but I think I may as well dream on.

Oil leak from rear of cylinder head

2002 automatic liberty 3.7 6 cylinders I've changed the head gasket and put everything back together, followed by smoke which led me to find oil dripping onto the exhaust on the passenger side landing on the O2 sensor not that that matters. I removed the valve cover for the second time and I...

    2004 Liberty Control Shift Cable

And you're positive that the cable itself is unusable or is it another component. I'm thinking that maybe it can be salvaged ... or not?

Install lower timing chain rail only - without removing the cover.

I replaced the passengers side (USA) head gasket and i removed the LOWER rail in the process which now has to be reinstalled. How can i do that without removing the timing chain cover. I sense that I can slip the rail over the fully released tensioner but I'm having some doubts as to whether...

You're right now that I've looked closer, that's what's going on. Thanks for clarifying that.

2 threaded holes on the back of the cylinder block

That makes more sense. So the head is not the ground but rather the head is being ground to the wall. Is that unusual to have a head that needs grounding.?.

2 threaded holes on the back of the cylinder block

2002 Automatic Jeep Liberty limited 3.7 6 Valve When I was replacing the head gasket , a grounding strap was attached to the aluminum surface. The last time I checked you don't ground to aluminum. So, what are those two holes for. Secondly I'm guessing /assuming that the strap gets sandw in ched...
