Brakes engage intermittently ESC light flashes

My new hubs came with brand new sensors. They too were good for a little while. Keep investigating other issues and hopefully you will find it. Swap the tires around and see what happens

Brakes engage intermittently ESC light flashes

I chased an issue like this for a long time. I had new ABS sensors with my hubs. I eventually changed them out for higher quality sensors up front and it fixed the problem. If one is off a little get rid of that one and swap it out. I will have to look and see what brand I went with. I paid...

Clicking sound 05 liberty sport front drive shaft

Great, you will be rolling with 4WD in no time. I have to admit when I had a similar notice I was convinced it was my intermediate shaft because I had already done the rear joint with a subpar parts. I did a big breakdown, pulled the CV axle and intermediate shaft only to find out I had the...

as long as you want until you want 4H or 4L. They sold these in RWD only -- so you will develop empathy for those who did not pay for 4WD. I chased so many noises and it ended up being the rear joint on that front drive shaft. You can order a full replacement and if you do Google how to...

Clicking sound 05 liberty sport front drive shaft

How is the boot on the rear of the front drive shaft. That boot gets crack and lets water in. Driveshaftparts.com is where a lot of us get the parts to rebuild the rear joint on the drive shaft. Also, you can removed the front drive shaft and drive without it (just don't put in 4 wheel...

Help identify source of an oil leak

That area is wet in mine and its the power steering hose. Wipe down the back of the power steering pump where the hoses go in. It is a very slow leak, hardly moves the level of the power steering reservoir. The other fun leak on the front is the front main seal and it will send oil down the...

The high pressure power steering hose is prone to leaking. I need to replace mine too.

    transmission oil change

What I did with my used Liberty, is I used my miti vac fluid vacuum to suck out about 3 quarts ever oil change and gradually renewed the fluid. After the fluid looked and smelled better, I dropped the transmission pan and replaced the filter. That way there was no shock to the system.
