I love how I don't think of the simple solution, just assume the worst....I'm going to take a look later today when or if it quits raining out.

My 07 glass is goofy too. The glass only opens with the key fob. When I unlock and open the swing gate, the glass is supposed to unlatch and pop open....it will open but will not shut, I have to hit the button on the key fob to release the latch so it will close. I figured it's a couple hundred...
There is a sequence to shut it off, it's in the manual. I'd try that before I spent $$ on a harness. I did ot but because I do alot of low speed travel and do not want to wear it and listen to the chime...

Its that time again! Just enjoying the day with an ice cold Schmidt doing some maintanance. Waiting for the oil to drain so I needed a break...thought I'd share my fun!

I asked the dealer about my 07, and if I could purchase one just to check levels. He stated its not there because of what was mentioned above...and as he knew there was not a Mopar or aftermarket replacement part. He said the dealer will check the level if you are curious at no charge. Doesn't...
I have a 2007 kj and bought a Curt hitch on an auction site for $17 and a Mopar wire harness from the dealer for about $100. Both were easy install, the harness was basically plug and play, with the removal of the tailgate sill and rear inner panel to gain access to a wire harness that was just...
I got 225/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Authority...Wal-Mart only tires and had them installed elsewhere. On sale I paid $98/tire and a couple days later the spare for $68. They do have road noise but are great in snow/rain. I have about 5k miles on them so far and am very pleased.
Replaced the NGK plugs that were recommended in another thread here with the 'Mopar' plugs bought from the dealer....which also turned out to be NGK but nickel plated and stock. The ones recommended kept tripping the check engine light, multiple cylinder misfire....weird. All systems normal so far.
I pull our pop-up camper, measures 6x10 or so but not sure of the weight. The camper has 8x5.70 wheels so it can't be terribly heavy. I also pull a 14' aluminum boat regularly during the summer and have a 6x10 utility trailer used to haul my fish house and snowmobile in the winter. I installed...
That looks very nice! How does the roof rack sound at highway speed? I really want one myself for gear on fishing trips and to hold a couple lights. I bought some really crappy cross bars on ebay for cheap, but they are very noisy and I'm not happy with them.
I find too that they are much better in wet conditions than the SR-A's. We are to get our first big snow tonight, so we'll see tomorrow how they handle...I'm looking forward to it! I also don't mind the hum, I like it.
