I hope someone can help me out with this weird problem i been having. About once a month ill jump in the jeep and start it up and the engine light starts flashing and of course its misfiring bad. I shut it off and wait 2 seconds start it back up and it runs fine. I haven't really investigated...
I have been having charging issues for about a year now. The Alternator will sometimes put out 14v and sometimes 0. I have replaced the alternator twice over the last year and replaced the battery but it still randomly kicks on and off. i installed the external regulator and that worked for me...
Looks like I will be needing a new muffler soon. I was just wondering if it would be wise to replace the catalytic converter at the same time. It's an 02 with 220 on it. There is really no problem with the system overall just a rust hole in the muffler. Plus any advice on what type, brand?
I have a 2002 liberty and This morning on the way to work I noticed that the dash lights were very dim. So I turned the nob on the left side of the wheel to turn them up., but when I turn it one notch the dome lights come on. It clicks about 4 or 5 times. The first click turns the dome lights...
My 2002 jeep liberty is in the shop after being hit about a week ago. The rental car they gave me is a 2015 jeep Cherokee. I'm really shocked on how it rides, really rough on bumps and dips. My 02 liberty out rides it easy. It has very nice interior, everything is digital witch I don't like too...
That's what I tossed In my 02 liberty. Monroe quick struts and moog everything else. It's only a 2wd so wasn't going for anything special. I got them for 80$ apc off Amazon free shipping with prime. But the old ones were so worn these raised it at least an inch.
I had the same noise sounded like someone hitting the tire well with a hammer when I went over a bump hard or dip in the road. I'm pretty sure mine was worn struts. I think they were bottoming out. After replacing the struts lower ball joints and tiered ends the noise is gone and rides so much...
Yeah they were quick struts but I went ahead and changed lower ball joints and tiered ends while it was apart.
Yeah man that's crazy! I'm no mechanic so I wouldn't mess with that type of stuff lol
I had never done struts before, I had no idea what I was getting into.I found they are very simple, 2 hours to do first side and 45 minutes for the other. And did it in my driveway. Not sure what a garage would charge. I just like to try things myself.
