No it doesn't blow hot when I park or idling. Just air. I flushed out the core and radiator though. Changed thermostat. Water pump. But then it could be blocked somewhere in the hoses maybe? I'm stumped.
Well I changed the water pump couple months ago. Filled it with coolant as much as it could take. Still only put out heat when driving down the highway. Not when idling. I'm wondering if there's a blockage in the vents or is the vent door not fully opening? Where is the vent door located?
Okay. I just went and tried the front bolt on the pinion again. It went on. With some determined carefully turning. Had to lightly hit it in with a hammer on the one hole it didn't want to go in. I screwed the bolt on all 4 to clean them of any debris. They went in slowly all the way. Used some...
Thanks, I will try looking around for similar bolts at hardware store. When I had the jeep at garage for repairs months ago they removed the front drive shaft because it was vibrating due to CV bearings going. Thinking if I ordered a new shaft later, bolts would come with it, but they didn't...
I am looking for the bolt sizes for a 2010 jeep liberty sport 4x4, 3.7. For new front drive shaft.
I ordered some online but they are not fitting properly.
The 6 rear CV bolts are too short. And the front bolt won't go into the pinion end of the differential. Only go in so far maybe a millimeter...
Possible I was just checking that as well. Put in over half a jug of coolant few days ago. Will see if that helps. I thought I had filled it up. When I changed the coolant. It's not leaking anywhere.
Hi no I don't smell any coolant. It heats up good. And doesn't overheat. I suspect it is the water pump as I hear sound coming from that area where the water pump is. Haven't changed it yet but I will.
I have a jeep liberty 2010, 3.7. I changed thermostat, flushed radiator and heater core. Put in coolant. I get heat as It wasn't putting out heat before. But now it only heats while driving on the road. It doesn't throw out heat while idling. What do you think is the problem? I read here it...
I have no heat also at idle in a 2010 jeep liberty. I changed thermostat before and flushed rad and heater core. There's only heat while driving. Coolants topped up.
Previous owner took out the factory radio and put in a newer touch screen radio. Told me the antenna was disconected. Where would that be disconnected if I wanted to put the old factory radio back in? The new radio doesnt get radio reception from any stations.
I found a wire that is not connected to anything. I bought the 2010 jeep liberty from previous owner. Can anyone tell me what this wire is for? It comes out of the driver side fire wall and has a fuse on it. By the fuse box and battery area. Writing on it says stinger. Cannot see where it...
