Pay attention to how many tires you have aired up and that's not really a big issue. If you suspect you're getting low, weigh it and/or get it refilled. Yes. it takes longer to air up with a 12v, right at 4 min going from 16 to 34 psi on my 33's. A 12v can air up a tire with a busted bead. All...

LOL... unless you missed it, or you're a parrot, your comment has already been voiced above in post #25. I answered that I have no need for lockers. I'll match my rig and skills with a Rubicon set up with the same lift and tires as my X with 4.56 gears any day. I may not win every challenge...

I don't mean to bust your bubble, but I've done very well without lockers in both my TJ and JK. I run easy to slightly difficult trails with some pretty good hill climbs and rock gardens. Picking the right lines and with the proper gearing, I do just fine thank you. Driver skill has a lot to do...

You're right, it's like having a brick behind your head, but does not affect a comfortable ride unless your co-pilot wants to recline the seat and take a nap. Overall, the JK is a more comfortable ride than the KJ and my old TJ.

I have both a KJ and a JK... the seats in the JK are definitely more comfortable. The JK seat cushion is softer, longer and wider than the KJs making it a better seat for taller drivers. As for security issues... Tuffy makes several different products. Check out their website...

Yes, some change is good but not the direction the bean counters have been taking Jeep. Thin sheet metal, plastic xfer case shifter linkage bushings that leaves you stranded in 4 lo, cheaper and cheaper hard plastic interiors where they try to remedy the issue with fake qwady bling.... the list...

Soccer Mom interior. I think half the problem with the Wrangler and the entire Jeep line up.... is they are trying to appeal to too many people and the Wrangler is getting further and further away from what a Jeep is supposed to be. I'd venture to say most Jeeps, the Wrangler included, never...

Take your trail stuff out when not using it or tint the windows....

Don't forget tools, spare fluids, tire repair kit, clamps, duct tap, zip ties and a can of starter fluid and a BBQ lighter to reset a blown bead on your tire, a GPS with topo maps for your area, and the list goes on.....

x2 on what was said above about the "goodwill" warranty fix, but most dealers will charge you $100.00 for it. I just called Chrysler Customer Care... they are calling my dealer to tell them not to charge me for my current repair. They also gave me a case number and an address to submit a claim...
