That looks like a good alternative. Love to hear if someone has given this a try. I made a TDI tool, worked ok, but would much rather lock the cam gears up when trying to torque the bolt.

Did you get the rotor on flat against the mating surface? Did you torque the lug nuts the same. Either can cause runout on the rotor. Runout is when the rotor disk doesn't rotate true and acutally...

I don't believe any KJ's had cabin air filters from the factory.

There is a thread around here, where the user added a foam filter to the opening under the plastic cowl piece under the wiper arms.
