Anyone had the recent N46 gas tank/trailer hitch recall processed

Has anyone had the recent N46 gas tank/trailer hitch recall processed in Canada yet ?

I had a frustrating visit to my local dealer , and then a call to Chrysler US, and Chrysler Canada. It sounds like Chrysler US is processing these already, and Chrysler Canada hasn't even sent out notices to owners yet,

When u typed in your VIN # does it show a recall or an inspection even yet in Canada?
I checked mine a few weeks back and nothing showing regarding hitch.
Does not really matter to me, I have the tank skid plate & hitch already on it now.

A couple of months ago I checked and it showed no outstanding recalls.

When I checked this week it shows one outstanding recall, N46

However, as you might have seen in another post here in the TSB forum, the dealer wasn't helpful. A subsequent call to Chrysler Canada was better and they indicated they hadn't issued letters to owners yet, and were not quite ready to do so .....

N46 recall notice arrived yesterday

Well, the N46 recall notice finally arrived yesterday. Back to the dealer to see what they will do.

BTW, the N45 recall on my old ZJ arrived the day before yesterday - I bet the dealerships are going to be busy

I got mine yesterday too. Not of much use to me though.
Already have a hitch and most cars would slide right under quite a ways before they made contact with it anyway

I really don't understand this recall.
Should it not be a gas tank skid plate & Hitch..??
