CRD Diagnostic Trouble Code

Hi guys
As an owner of 2.8 crd 2006 I'm getting check engine light on and off from time to time. Could anybody tell me, how I can get the DTC (diagnostic trouble code) without going to the official dealer. Both methods found by googling (3 fast ignition key turns & odometer reset + ignition key turn) didn't work. I also bought the scanner based on elm327 chip and this thing cannot read the codes either. Please help.

On your '06 the key trick should work.

I tried once more according the video with no luck. But the 2-nd trick it's working but not the way it should - I see 1111111 through 999999 then 7.0 and that's all. Does anybody know what OBD II interface KJ 2006 uses (CAN or smth different)?

There was a midyear reflash on 06 ECM's, the DTC is no longer availble via the key turns on most 06+ Chryslers.
