Hello,
First time poster here. I have a 2012 liberty limited. V6. No tow package. Im trying to buy brake parts. How do I know if my jeep has standard or the HD brakes option? It looks like it only matters on the front brakes. I went to the dealer and they didnt know. They looked up my VIN and guessed that they were standard because the options sheet would have said HD if they were HD so the default is standard?

Anyone have any ideas to figure this out. Looks like it really only matters on the rotors and not the pads.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Doesn't matter. Just get quality rotors and pads. I like the Powerstop Ceramic Z23 kit. Avoid drilled/slotted stuff.

302mm vs 332mm outside diameter rotors... if yours are not too heavily rusted and falling apart, measure what you have now.

Not sure if there are other, easier tell-tales for HD vs non-HD brakes on a KK.
