Looking for direction with repairing a door chime that remains on with key removed from the ignition tumbler. Not sure if related but also have left half of the speedometer not alluminating. Appreciate any help

Only saw this post now...maybe fixed already.

The Actuator Pin Assembly which rotates the ignition switch when you rotate the ignition key is a rectangular zinc alloy/plastic bar with a hole down its center.
A thin plastic sliver protrudes from the end of this assembly...when the key is inserted this sliver presses down on a single switch inside the ignition switch to show that the key is fully inserted.
Owners that have replaced this Actuator Pin Assembly....known to break fairly often...have sometimes have this problem you describe. This is because some of the supplied assemblies have a "sliver" that is too long so it presses on the switch even when an ignition key is not inserted. This sliver needs to be slightly trimmed down.

Some of the lamps plugged into the rear of the cluster have probably blown. You can remove the cluster and replace the blown bulbs. Some owners have replaced the bulbs with LEDs but you need to have the correct resistors fitted to them.
