So I bought my 04 liberty sport in July. Got it for a great deal after my Ranger bit the dust. A few things that I have done/want to do soon:

New Tires: Now Dick Cepek Extreme Countries in 245/75R16

CB Radio: DONE! Cobra 19DXIV w/ Firestik 4 foot antenna

Roof Lights/Aux Lights: Done!

Lift Kit: Done - Frankenlift

Roof Rack: Janky ass cross bars to hold kayak at the moment

Pics will come later today. All suggestions are welcome!

New Tires: DONE! Firestone A/T

CB Radio: DONE! Cobra 19DXIV w/ Firestik 4 foot antenna

Roof Lights/Aux Lights: IN PROGRESS - ordered a 32" led light bar to be mounted on the roof, and two led pods to be mounted on the front bumper.

Lift Kit: NOT DONE - Still deciding on the best lift available.

Pics will come later today. All suggestions are welcome!

Sounds like you have a plan
for lifts only a few real ways to go
Ironman, OME give you 2.25 / 2.5 without extras
JBA adjustable coilovers great ride for sure
great place to deal, Home page
also check out All J Products - Aftermarket Jeep Products, Boulder Bars, Bumpers, Jeep Lift Kits, Skid Plates and MORE! for their Frankenlift

don't do spacer style lifts unless you like pulling your hair out for the next 3 months
Skyjacker and Rustys have stock spring rate and sag
Rocky Road,.........well...............
like I said there are two great places to deal mentioned first

Antenna mount, shamelessly borrowed idea from profdlp :) http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f222/profdlps-2007-liberty-project-54355/index7.html#post614842

Current project, mounting the switches for the lightbar and front lights. They should hopefully be here tomorrow!

If you go Frankenlift you'll need jeepinbyal upper control arms as well, plus it takes quite a while to break in

Well, I've been away for a little while. Met a guy at college who is building a Libby and gave me the inspiration to post an update!

As of today I have some new tires, dick cepek extreme countrys in 245/75r16.

I have updated my lighbar mount with another bar and idea posted here on the forums using Chevy brackets.

Also installed a frankenlift six months ago.

Also installed LED headlights + Fogs. Vaguely illegal around these parts, but nobody seems to care.

Also, Also, (too many additions!) I added the factory tow hooks to the front, and got a hitch on the rear plus D-ring trailer hitch

Now for some picture spam!

Ok so next step: I am going to trim my front bumper. My plan is to move the fogs in front of the grill and trim it like the pic below.

Nice rig!

Do you prefer the top of the bumper as opposed to in the bumper? I know this is the Renegade location, and personally I have never cared for that. Just wondering what your motivation is for moving them...

I really like the tires - quite aggressive. How are they with road noise? My XJ has Cooper Discovery AT/M and they were noisy for the first 1000 miles (either they wore down a little or I just got used to it) and my KJ has Yokohama Geolandar A/T-s and they are silent, but not the best off-road.

Thanks! I am trimming because I still have some rubbing issues on the front inner fenders, even after bending and prodding them. Plus, I like the aggressive look of the cut bumper. I had some smaller LED pods on the bumper previously, and I liked the way it looked. I am thinking about putting a smaller 20" light bar there instead of round lights. I like the renegade lights, but I think it will clash with my light bar on the roof.

The tires are great. They are definitely a little noisy compared to my A/Ts, but quieter than most other M/Ts. I haven't tested them off road yet, but I can tell you they grip and pull extremely well on gravel, so I have high hopes.

Of course with cutting the bumper that washer fluid bottle is very exposed, so I am relocating it

I cut the massively long neck off of the bottle and shortened it to a more reasonable length.

Once the epoxy dries, I will add pics of the new mounting location.

All moved. I had to extend the wires for the pump and low fluid sensor, but no big deal. Really makes you wonder why it wasn't here in the first place, it fits very nicely.

How do you like the tires? I bought a set for myself and haven't had time to put the lift on, so they've been sitting for a few months.

Some of the best tires I have had. They are quiet for a m/t, and they are excellent on and off road. Mud, sand, whatever. They handle it all
