Thrush Welded Muffler

I was doing some research on exhausts and decided to go with just a muffler rather than a cat back system. Cut stock muffler off, welded Thrush Welded Muffler on, i love it. Sounds great and i have noticed an increase in midrange power. Love the sound at idle too. Video

The muffler has zero effect on emissions. Removing the cat would, but he kept it on.

i thought it read just a muffler no more cat back .

When referring to a "catback exhaust", it means everything after the cat. The cat stays put.

not where im from ... lol like i said i read it wrong it says "just a muffler" well if he didnt remove the cat .. it is still a cat back . but he said just a muffler. double meaning i suppose.

"just a muffler" = no tailpipe. Catback includes a tailpipe too. That's how I read his story. lol

I deleted the third (Downstream) Cat and went with a Thrush Welded muffler, Sounds awesome, Gives it a nice growl too but it did sound better on my Sierra HD Lol, I will be putting one on my Titan soon, My brother has one on his ZJ 5.2L and my other brother has one on his Canyon and love the sound.
