resurrecting this thread instead of starting a new one.... so without cutting any threads when the heims are bottomed out its about 19.25 center of eye to center of eye... should I cut equal amounts off each end ? maybe a dumb question.

Another question just be cause I'm curious... does this setup put more force through the bracket since no more bushings or ball joint ?

Yes equal amounts
Not really more force, although bushings " soften " the amount and when it actually hits or you feel it
With the bolt on its right there, solid feeling
