Mp3 compatiblity

Hi i newly owned a kj. İ wonder if its audio system is compatible with mp3 files. İ coudnt play a cd-r with full of mp3 files. Thank you

Welcome to the forum.
It will only play mp3 if beside the "disc" symbol, there is also an "mp3" symbol.

^ Would be a viable option if one did not want to mod their radio or buy one modded with an aux in, or in my case didn't want to be limited to the 6 disc changer.. I do like that, but cd's are so 1990's.

Streaming XM or Spotify from my phone via bluetooth or aux in to my stereo is much nicer.

True.. but my alternatives also work, and with an aux input mod on your radio, best of all options!
