Can I not amp a sub with my new headunit?

Page 16 explains rear outputs (preouts?) It has a setting for a subwoofer without and aux amp, but that's it. Can I hook any amped sub to this? Any help is appricated!

the subwoofer output (item 10 or 12 on page 20 depending on which head unit you purchased) is the subwoofer output. it is a pair of rca connectors (one red and one white). to run the subwoofer with an amp all you need to do is get the subwoofer cable (it is a long rca cable) that cable will plug into the amp and then you use heavy gauge speaker or power wire (10-14 depending on the subwoofer size and amp power rating) to connect the output of the amp to the subwoofer.
