Hey Guys and Gals,

Has anyone tried having their tires trued up? Unfortunately due to not aligning often enough, my tires have cupped a bit. I rotate them frequently but due to needing new tires soon after the lift, I had to put the tires on before the lift settled. Pair that in with the lack of alignments and the tires cupped (very slightly) and are LOUD. Would like to know if I can solve this. I am NOT getting new tires for a vehicle that I rarely drive. I will deal with the noise above that.

Thanks for any and all advice.

I have trued a lot of tires back in the 70s,
but most places will not true a tire after its been ran due to the roacks / dirt etc that down in the tread.
Some may but ....
Thats why alignments and tire rotation is so important

may be due to sleep deprivation but the only suggestion i have involves a concrete pad, a chain, a tree a water hose and removing the front driveshaft and putting in 4 low, depending on just how bad they're cupped but at the same time i feel i shouldnt encourage such behavior

Several years ago I built a house for a single buddy of mine.
You know small one bedroom, etc with large garage.
But at the side of the garage was his burn out pit.
20X30 pad set up for nothing else but to do burnouts on :gr_grin:
So may just work in this case:happy175:

have one beside the shop lol. it's how we grind down tractor tires for the pulling classes that dont allow hand cut tires. at least with car/truck tires the process doesn't take the entire day.
