I'll start.

What in the world is heading at me. Anybody west of MA know whats coming yet? I got 6 inches of snow the other day but they are claiming this one might be the worst storm every recorded for Boston. Lucky for me I work at a non-stop manufacturing plant where absence due to weather is not allowed.

They have no clue down here. They're saying anything from rain to 6" to we don't really know, but batten down the hatches.

I'm not terribly amused. We have a plow, wheel weights and chains on the mower, but my boss' husband has a sweet Dodge Ram 1500, lifted with light bar, and a plow. Anything over 8" and they'll plow me out - again.

Ya I am hearing between 10 inches to 3 ft not including the 60mph gust drifts... this could get interesting.

I just heard in some areas you could get 2-4 inches an hour.
Now that is a snowstorm
When the wife was teaching at Harvard I was over visiting one weekend and a good storm came through. ( think it was like 18-20 inches) Of course you know how visitors parking is like ( Brookline area) so Liberty is parked like 4 blocks away. Couldn't even get to it or wasn't any use to. Next morning people are trying to walk up the streets, falling over, stuck. Then people tried driving so cars sitting everywhere in the streets as well, it was quite funny really.
We're only getting 2-4 here
So good luck to you all over there !!!!

Pretty much the same here in Sterling. They say "A lot of Snow & Rain" but no clue as to how much of each. They did tell me how warm it will be in 2115 though, so I have that to look forward to.

My parents and one brother like in northern CT - and the snow forecast is unbelievable. My other brother lives in Buffalo and their snow forecast is nothing.

Gotta love the weather...

Ya prof I am doing a full inspection tomorrow morning to make sure everything is in working order. Might even air down my tires to 30psi for laughs.
