It's better to have a winch and need it than to not have a winch and not need it

I wouldn't even bother if you dont go all the way and get a setup with laser shifters. A lot of if not all PDs are using laser guns. They are instant on and have a very precise beam. Once you're detector picks up on it they have your speed already.

Only a few states make it illegal to use laser shifters so check your local laws.

Though $100 isn't going to come close to one of these. Though sometimes the cost of one speeding ticket and insurance premiums would cover the cost of a laser shifter system.

Or you could stay within 5 MPH of the speed limit.

Just a thought.

Sometimes that's difficult when it'll go 55mph 30mph 55mph randomly and the 30mph is over a crest so when you see the sign you need to slam on your brakes. There is a specific road near me where they wait for people not from the area to ticket for this.

There are also areas where traffic is at 45mph and the speed limit is 25mph. Large differences in speed is very dangerous. More dangerous than you speeding to match traffic than if you went the limit and were going slower than traffic. https://sites.psu.edu/siowfa15/2015/...-faster-safer/

I have the Cobra listed in my sig and it’s worked perfect for me when driving my Challenger
It starts going off around corners on the freeway where cement barriers block your view of them sitting under overpasses and allows me to slow down before I even get close
I’ve noticed that I see more police when driving my Jeep and not having the detector than speeding around in my Challenger
I got the detector, mirror mount, and power feed that plugs into an autodimming mirror for about $110 I believe
The one I have also has Bluetooth so it’ll show you your speed, live battery voltage, etc

Bedline the bumpers and bend the crap out of the license plates. Most bedliners absorb or deflect radar/laser like stealth aircraft.Messing up your plates creates a inconsistent reading since it's no longer flat and the most used item to bounce a laser off of.

Cops have not been able to pic up the KJ on radar or laser for years, proven by a couple of buddies back home that are cops.

I would say that in order to get a reliable radar detector you will need to spend around $200.
