I am sure many of us will do inspections soon!
What's on your repair, fix, or paint list this year?

My inspection began this afternoon...
The good news is boots look good & no major leaks that I can find!

Wish it was “spring”. The winter salt did a number on my new parts.
Looks good!

Btw. Your rear shock has a coil spring ?

Yes Running Monroe load levelers as the OME 948 springs sagged a bit.
Restored the lift with these!

My To Do list:

Replace coils
Replace all O2 sensors
Replace PCV valve
Replace window regulator on driver side window.
Rewire ABS sensor on the read diff. The cable has perished and snapped off leaving me with a permanently on ABS light and Park brake light.
Replace front rotors and brake pads. The rears were done about 4 months ago. Should really do the calipers too...

First I intend to clean it, then I'm going to clean it again. Once that is all done I plan to clean it really, really good.

Oh, and touch up a few spots on my roof rack.

I will also get my tow hooks installed and hope to add some armor in a couple months once I've gained some ground savings-wise.

I have a busy couple of weeks coming up, but hope to fit this in somewhere if the weather cooperates.

Looks great!

I'm wondering if you might have a slight steering rack leak and it's filling the inner tie rod end boots. That's how mine was for years, coupled with a weepy HP line. Only needed to be topped off once a year or so. The LR3 has a slight steering rack weep, haven't had to top it off for year though.

Put in new NGK copper cores, oil change, and new intermediate shaft + a pair of napa reman CVs. Saw that my power steering high pressure line is weeping from the top crimp. Putting it on the to do list.

Also, Monroe load levelers are a great shock. I've had +/-1000lb in the back and it handles that no problem. Not trying to drive up a mountain with that, but the Jeep handled it around town.

Need front UCAs on my 05 and maybe front coilovers (creaky). Noticed the Dside UCA boot is torn pretty bad. Replaced Pside last spring but that boot was gone back then. Had a Dorman on the shelf that I never put on the 02 but will probably get the unlifted JBAs this time. Might try new shocks and the medium duty OME springs in the back since the ones on it are original. Front will probably get the Monroe Quickstruts I bought for the 02 (for now) with the quarter inch JBA toplates I have, and a couple conduit nuts on each. Maybe give me an inch or so of lift?

Any special tool you keep full or do you just drop on with a screwdriver dipped in?
Ha ha..I dump some atf+4 into cap, then dip a toothbrush in cap!
Then spread some into hinges..works very good to keep the creaks/squeaks away!

Curious, but why that and not a more "standard" lubricant?

Well..My drivers door was a real squeaky PITA.
Nothing including WD-40, Deep Creep, liquid wrench, chain lube including graphite,PB Blaster etc etc..woked that well or for very long.
That is until I tried ATF+4..then all is well for many months, almost a year actually.

Medium duty OMEs will give abouit 2-2.5 inches of lift
they only have light and medium duty rears

It's weird how vehicle door hinges can be. My Durango, KJ and LR3 have never needed any attention. I've never put a drop of anything on them. My WK you could hear for miles. I've had rentals too that were super loud.

Okay, my bad, I may go the light duty route. This is my DD and will not go off road. I'd just like a tad more clearance and a bit less rake.
