Hey guys...my wife's '04 KJ is quickly approaching 60,000 miles on it and figured it was time to start doing some maintenance to keep it going for a while. However, we can't seem to find the owner's manual. I've tried to change the oil every 3K miles, but haven't done much else. Can someone please post the recommended maintenance schedule?

Thanks!!

60k

I have an 04 and I'm fast approaching 60k. I went ahead and had my service done at 51k, I'm getting ready to move and wanted to use my mechanic of over 15 years of Jeep ownership in the family.

Here's what he did:

Oil & oil filter change
Air filter change
Tire rotation and balance
Transfer case lube
Transmission flush

He check all the fluid levels, and clarity. He also checked the spark plugs (I have the 90,000 mile plugs). He checked the fluid in the differentials, and it was clean, so he said I could wait until 90,000 miles. It would have cost another $200.

Total cost: Just under $300
Total Time: 2.5 hours

My transmission shifts much smoother now. It shifted hard ever since I bought it new, just though it was a Jeep thing.

Schedule B out of my 2002 OM. Except I like to change my t-case every 15K instead of the 30K the OM says. Forget to add the PS fluid and tire rotation. Rotate my tires at every 4K and change the PS every 10K. My radiator hoses look good at 70K so I would say it would be okay to change them every other antifreeze change. (100K).

I have a excel spreadsheet of all my maintenance records.
