I need to remove my glove hole (I mean box). At my part time job, it requires that I have a pen and a sticky pad (post-it note pad) on me at all times. Well when I leave that job I just throw them in the glove box and go. I've lost 3 pens and an ENTIRE sticky pad to the "monster" behind the box. The area between the top of the box and the bottom of the dash is too narrow for me to get my not skinny hands in, so where are the screws (or bolts, whatever holds them in) located to get them off?

Thanks to all.

I had to remove mine to do my cb install. To remove it: open as far as normal, then slide to left and pull down to disconnect the rest of the way. It just pops out. reverse the process to install. Make sure it's empty first or you'll dump everything on the floor in the procees.

Toss your pens and Post-its in your center console...or where the ashtray would've been, unless you have an ashtray there.

center console has CD's and my tire pressure guage. The area of where the ash try is on the older models is being occupied by a hands free head set with speaker and car mount for my company Cell Phone. The holder got 3M'd to the dash and the speaker and wires are bunched up under the heater controls

Sounds easy enough.

Thanks for the info valvestem.

I'll still find a way to screw it up, watch...LOL!

I don't really see why i would have to disconnect my battery just to remove the box. No lights in there or anything. Or is that just what they recommend when you do anything to a vehicle?

Now watch, my luck, the passanger air bag will blow up in my face right as I get the box off. Kinda something that would happen on the Simpsons (for those who watch that show)

When I work on the vehicle, I am just clumsy enough to cause the airbag to pop out, I would disconnect the neg. battery cable as well..... :-k
