filter of cabin

i have liberty 2007 2.8 crd and i cant find the filter of cabin.can everybody know where is it?

Correction...........

No cabin filters on '02-'07 KJ's,they are a option for '08+ KK's.

I didn't know that was an option haven't come across one with that option yet.

There is not a filter that filters air coming in from outside. Some owners have made their own filters by placing filter material across the intake grill which is in front of the windscreen below the wipers on the right-hand side. The problem with this is that the filter can get wet from rain.

There is a filter behind the glovebox which is for reciculated air which can get clogged up so that the air flow is poor when turned to reciculate.

There is a post here a few topics down regarding this later filter....Porkchop has contributed to that discussion.

Correct it's a screen that can be be cleaned off not a paper filter that can be bought like other cabin air filters and has no affect on filtering outdoor air

Maybe the Export models have them fitted.

I must have a look for one in my 2002 CRD....where exactly is it fitted and how do you access it?....mine being a RHD might mean there is a difference.:disgust:

It's not installed in any KJ - it's a hidden optional extra ;-)
should be exactly the same - to access it you have to take off the windscreen wipers and the plastic cover and you should see it in the left hand side (as you look at the car from the front)

As for aftermarket filters, here is the

producing the same filter as eolo
