I know the passenger or right side is an issue and I've got my intermediate shaft on order and will pick up remans from Napa once it arrives. My concern is the other side has play in very much the same way, not as much but it's there. Those splines go directly into the carrier if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure the CV is likely toast, but is the carrier made of harder steel and hopefully good? I know this question can't be answered definitively without physical inspection. Just wondering if others can share their experience.
