Hello

My kj v6 went to the shop today for a new detroit trutrac and my mechanic said that my steering rack is shot (i already knew it went bad).

he replaced the steering rack - and called to say that the ABS and ESP lights are on.

before he pulls out the code reading gear - any thoughts about what could cause this?

I'm guessing it just needs to be aligned, provided that one of the speed sensor wires didn't get damaged.

Could try disconnect Batt and drive it a bit to see if it clears, otherwise look at alignment or wheel speed sensors

When I replaced the rear wheel speed sensor on my Jeep, the Brake light went off but the ABS light stayed on. I took it for a drive and the ABS light disappeared.
