I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport that the A/C has stopped working on. I had an issue about 3 years ago which turned out to be a bad low pressure switch but I already did a bypass on that this time and the clutch does not engage although it does make an internal noise that it doesn't do when actually hooked up! the clutch will turn freely by hand and I had a guy at work hook up the gauges and he said the system was full of refrigerant, checked the relay and that clicks when the A/C is turned on. I'm an aircraft painter and not a mechanic so if someone can provide an organized list from the smallest thing to check to the largest to trouble shoot this problem I would be ever so grateful.
