Hi. I've done a little research and was thinking about putting in a indash cd/mp3/dvd etc player in my 05 Liberty.

I have been looking at this: http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=14248&langId=-1

QUESTION: Will this fit in place of the stock radio without moving anything else? I have not measured anything yet but was looking for info/advice from those who have worked on similiar projects.

Thanks!

Looks the same as the Jensen (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-8D0xDdhbMs8/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=110VM9410&search=vm9410) that crutchfield sells, which they say fits the Liberty.

Yea that should fit ok with the adapter plate.

I have an 05 with the crutchfield kit, it all fits fine with a standard single DIN head unit (which that one appears to be). A double-din or din-and-a-half would require more serious modding to the dash.

crutchfield is nice because they include all the wiring and mounting kits for free for whatever car you tell them the unit is for. Saves the guesswork on the install.

Thanks for the info. I'm also looking at the Kenwood KVT-715DVD (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kqiQtgkICnn/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=168550&id=essential_info&i=113715DVD&cc=02)

Decisions, Decisions!!

audiovox vs kenwood? That should be a pretty easy decision :-P

Seems that way, huh. Price difference though.

I've got a Alpine, pretty happy with it.
