I would disconnect your battery … while you clean the terminals and clamps, if you can see corrosion, it may be inside the clamped connection as well. Let it sit for a bit before reconnecting. Bad connections can cause all kinds of crazy “Gremlins”. Fingers crossed!

Referencing the Tacoma for example .. the trans fluid has to be at a specific temperature when accessing the standpipe to check the fluid level. You can do it yourself but a digital thermometer and patience are required.
You’ve done a great job keeping her rust free Tim! Every KJ in my neck of the woods (there are at least 6 in my town of 300) is rotted out at the 3rd brake light.
